Today, while posting my most recent blog across social media, I took a few moments to scroll. And what I saw honestly blew me away.
Post after post promised “abundance,” “good fortune,” or “miracles coming your way.” And below each one were hundreds — sometimes thousands — of comments filled with “I claim it!” or “So it is!”
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good manifestation vibe. But this realization hit me hard:
We have faith that liking a post or typing “I claim it” will change our lives…
but we don’t have that same faith in ourselves.
but we don’t have that same faith in ourselves.
We’re putting our belief outside of us — in algorithms, in luck, in someone else’s message — instead of placing it where it truly belongs: inside.
The truth is:
You don’t need to comment “I claim it.”
You don’t need to wait for the universe to notice your like.
You simply need to remember your power — and activate it intentionally.
You don’t need to wait for the universe to notice your like.
You simply need to remember your power — and activate it intentionally.
So if you’ve caught yourself recently “claiming” your blessings during a late-night scroll, don’t feel bad. We all crave connection, hope, and a little magic. But here’s your gentle wake-up call: it’s time to stop claiming and start creating.
How to Step Into Your Power (No Likes Necessary)
Here are five steps to help you shift from passive “claiming” to active creating — and start manifesting real change from within.
1. Pause the Scroll
The next time you feel that impulse to “claim it,” take a deep breath instead.
Ask yourself: What is this post really awakening in me?
Is it desire, hope, envy, longing? Whatever it is, it’s showing you where your soul is ready to grow.

2. Name What You Truly Want
Don’t just claim what someone else posts. Get specific about your dream.
What does abundance, love, or peace look like for you?
Write it down. The moment you define it, you begin to give it form — that’s where creation starts.

3. Believe in Your Own Power
Instead of saying “I claim it,” try saying:
“I create it. I am capable. I am ready.”
This tiny shift in language moves you from wishful thinking to energetic alignment. You’re no longer waiting — you’re participating.

4. Take One Aligned Action
Manifestation is momentum. Do one small thing today that supports your intention.
If you’re claiming abundance, look at your finances with clarity.
If you’re claiming love, show love — to yourself or someone else.
If you’re claiming peace, create a moment of quiet.
Every action says to the Universe, “I’m serious about this.”

5. Trust the Timing, but Keep Moving
Trust doesn’t mean sitting still — it means moving in faith.
When you keep showing up with consistency and self-belief, the universe meets you halfway. Your “claim” becomes your creation because your energy, thoughts, and actions are aligned.

Final Thoughts
You don’t need to chase every post that promises blessings.
You are the blessing.
You are the blessing.
So the next time you see one of those “Claim it!” posts, take it as a reminder — not to type in the comments, but to tune in to your own magic.
Because the real power to change your life isn’t found in your feed…
It’s found in you.

As I write this, I’m on my way to Pilates — a little frustrated, because I like to be 15 minutes early and I’m only going to be six minutes early today.
Why? Because I didn’t leave my house when I should have.
It’s not like I was doing nothing — I was finishing up things around the house, being “productive.” (Okay… I might’ve been slacking off a little before that.) But still, I left later than I intended.
Now that I’m on the road, I’m hitting every single red light. I’m stuck behind slow drivers. I’m waiting for someone to make a left-hand turn. And all of it is testing my patience.
In that moment, I reminded myself:
“I’ll get to Pilates at the exact time I’m meant to get there. The Universe knows what it’s doing.”
And while that’s true, it doesn’t change the fact that I am the one who left the house late.
That’s the dance we’re all trying to learn — the balance between trusting the Universe’s perfect timing and taking personal responsibility for our part in the process.
Yes, the Universe is magical in its synchronicities, divine timing, and perfect orchestration. But that doesn’t mean we get to sit back and wait for things to happen. Manifestation isn’t passive.
Your actions, your mindset, and your energy are what tell the Universe what you truly want.
Not just your affirmations.
Not just your vision board.
Not just your affirmations.
Not just your vision board.
So ask yourself:
Are your affirmations, your vision boards, your thoughts, and your actions all in alignment with what you say you want?
Or are you telling the Universe one thing while acting as if you want something else?
Or are you telling the Universe one thing while acting as if you want something else?
Because if you’re asking for abundance but acting out of scarcity…
If you’re affirming love but closing yourself off emotionally…
If you’re visualizing success but procrastinating on the steps that would create it…
Then your energy is sending mixed messages.
If you’re visualizing success but procrastinating on the steps that would create it…
Then your energy is sending mixed messages.
Check your actions at the door.
Play an active role in your own manifestations.
And then — once you’ve done your part — trust the Universe’s timing.
And then — once you’ve done your part — trust the Universe’s timing.
Manifestation isn’t about forcing outcomes or creating something out of nothing. It’s about raising your vibration to match the frequency of what you desire.
Your vibration — the combination of your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions — is what the Universe listens to when it orchestrates your path.
So today, take responsibility for your energy. Move with intention.
And know that once you’re in alignment, the Universe will handle the timing.
And know that once you’re in alignment, the Universe will handle the timing.

Fifty. The Big 5-0. Holy Smokes! I can hardly believe I’m writing this—but here I am, staring down this monumental milestone with excitement, a little nostalgia, and a whole lot of anticipation for what’s ahead.
In 76 days, I’ll be stepping into my 50s—a new decade, a fresh chapter, the second half of my life. And rather than seeing it as something to dread, I’m choosing to see it as a doorway. A threshold. A moment where I can look back at everything I’ve experienced, learned, and accomplished—and then boldly declare that the best is yet to come.
Looking Back with Gratitude
As I reflect on the first 50 years of my life, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. Life hasn’t been perfect—far from it—but it’s been rich, colorful, messy, beautiful, and deeply meaningful.
I’ve loved, I’ve lost, I’ve grown, I’ve struggled, I’ve laughed until my sides hurt, and I’ve cried tears that reminded me just how much I care. I’ve reinvented myself more times than I can count, and each time, I’ve discovered more strength, more wisdom, and more resilience than I thought possible.
Every scar tells a story. Every triumph reminds me of my power. Every mistake shaped the person I’ve become.
And now, standing here at the edge of this new decade, I see it all with softer eyes. Not judgment. Not regret. Just appreciation for the journey.
The Best Is Yet to Come
Here’s the thing: I know in my bones that turning 50 isn’t an ending—it’s a beginning. It’s the start of the most powerful, purposeful, joy-filled chapter of my life.
There’s a freedom that comes with reaching this age. A freedom from worrying so much about what people think. A freedom to live life on my own terms. A freedom to put myself first, unapologetically, and to chase after the dreams that are still burning inside me.
The best is not behind me—it’s ahead of me.
76 Days of Preparation
That’s where this countdown comes in. I’ve got 76 days to prepare—not just for a party or a birthday candle blowout, but for a full mind-body-soul reset.
I want to step into my 50s with my physical, mental, spiritual, and financial health stronger than ever. That means:
- Physical: Moving my body in ways that bring me energy and joy. Nourishing myself with food that feels good. Prioritizing rest and recovery so I feel vibrant when the big day arrives.
- Mental: Reflecting on my journey so far, setting fresh goals, and nurturing my curiosity. I want my mind sharp, resilient, and open to new adventures.
- Spiritual: Deepening my connection to my inner self, my values, and the divine. Cultivating gratitude and presence as I step into this new era.
- Financial: Getting grounded, intentional, and abundant in how I manage my resources—because security and freedom go hand in hand.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about intention. About stepping into my 50s with a strong foundation and a clear vision of the kind of woman I’m becoming.
A Celebration of Life
So yes, I’ll be celebrating BIG when the day arrives. But more than balloons and cake, this milestone is about celebrating life itself. It’s about honoring the path that brought me here and stepping boldly into the one that lies ahead.
Fifty is not something to fear—it’s something to embrace with open arms and a full heart.
76 days to go. Let’s do this.

Last night, I had a dream!!
As someone with Aphantasia, I don’t typically remember my dreams. I know I have them—vividly and often—but the details almost always slip away the moment I open my eyes. So when a dream does stay with me, even in fragments, I pay attention. I know it's Uni (the Universe) whispering a message I’m meant to receive.
Most nights, my dream recall is either completely blank or filled with bits and pieces that seem nonsensical. Still, I trust. I dive into the energy of the dream and trust that what I’m meant to discern will reveal itself in time.
The Dream
Here’s what I remember:
I think I was at my boyfriend’s house. He was busy with the children, and then—someone knocked at the door.
I didn’t want to answer it. After all, it wasn’t my house. Instead, I walked to the door and simply held up my hand, signaling just a moment. But the knocking continued.
I repeated my signal—“Hold on”—but whoever was on the other side didn’t stop. The front door was made of smoky glass, so I couldn’t see who it was… but I could feel a presence. A strong one. A being of some kind was waiting.
And then—I woke up.
The Echo
Later that day, I was speaking with a client. She casually mentioned something that made my jaw drop. She was on the phone with her boyfriend the night before when she heard a knock at the door. She told him, “I’m not answering it.” But guess what? It was him—surprising her in the sweetest way.
That conversation brought my dream rushing back to the surface. The mystery knock. The door I wouldn’t open.
The Message
In dream symbolism, someone knocking on a door can represent:
- A new opportunity
- A spiritual awakening
- An invitation to step into a new phase
- A call to emotional healing
- A moment to take ownership of your path
The message I’m sitting with now is this: What am I hesitating to open? What am I sensing but not yet ready to face? Is there something—emotionally or spiritually—waiting for me to invite it in?
The smoky glass feels symbolic too. I couldn’t see clearly, but I could feel the truth on the other side. Sometimes we don’t need perfect vision—we just need presence, patience, and a willingness to open the door.

Starting my journey as a spiritual mindset coach, I faced an unexpected challenge: the shadow of comparison. I found myself constantly measuring my progress against renowned figures in the field, like Gabby Bernstein. Her success and confidence seemed light-years ahead of where I was, and it paralyzed me with fear. But today, I'm here to say: I am not Gabby Bernstein, and that's perfectly okay.
In the beginning, my inner critic was loud. It whispered doubts and fostered insecurities, convincing me that I wasn't good enough. I was so focused on what others were doing that I forgot to listen to my own voice. This comparison trap didn't just hinder my growth; it lowered my vibration and diluted my power of manifestation. When we're constantly looking outward, we lose touch with our unique gifts and the energy that makes us who we are.
Comparison is a thief of joy and an enemy of authenticity. It disconnects us from our essence, creating a barrier to our true potential. When we compare ourselves to others, we emit a vibration of lack and scarcity, which in turn blocks the flow of abundance into our lives. Manifestation thrives on a high vibration, one that is aligned with love, gratitude, and self-belief.
Breaking free from this cycle wasn't easy, but it was necessary. One of the first steps I took was practicing gratitude for my own journey. I began each day by acknowledging my achievements, no matter how small, which shifted my focus from what I lacked to what I already had. This simple practice helped raise my vibration and opened my heart to new possibilities.
Another pivotal step was cultivating self-compassion. I learned to treat myself with kindness and understanding, recognizing that my path is unique. Everyone's journey is different, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach to success. Embracing my imperfections allowed me to embrace my authenticity, which is the essence of true power.
Mindfulness played a crucial role in transforming my mindset. By staying present, I could catch myself whenever I slipped into the comparison trap. I practiced mindfulness meditation to center myself and reconnect with my inner wisdom. This practice helped me become more aware of my thoughts and feelings, empowering me to choose love over fear.
Setting boundaries with social media was another game-changer. I curated my online environment, unfollowing accounts that triggered self-doubt and seeking out those that inspired and uplifted me. By consciously choosing what I consumed, I created a space that nurtured my growth and aligned with my values.
Engaging in self-reflection and journaling was also invaluable. Writing down my thoughts allowed me to process my emotions and gain clarity on my goals. Through journaling, I discovered patterns in my thinking that were holding me back, and I could consciously work to change them.
I also sought out a community of like-minded individuals who supported and encouraged me. Surrounding myself with positive influences reminded me that I wasn't alone on this journey. Together, we celebrated each other's successes, and this camaraderie helped me build confidence in my unique abilities.
Affirmations became a daily ritual. I crafted powerful statements that resonated with my soul, repeating them until they became an integral part of my belief system. Affirmations like "I am enough," "I am worthy of success," and "I trust my journey" helped rewire my mindset and boost my self-esteem.
Lastly, I allowed myself to learn from others without comparing. I shifted my perspective from competition to inspiration, understanding that there's enough success for everyone. Each person's journey can teach us valuable lessons, and by celebrating others, we raise our collective vibration.
The journey to self-empowerment is ongoing, but each step forward brings me closer to my authentic self. I now understand that I don't need to be Gabby Bernstein or anyone else; I just need to be the best version of myself. By embracing my uniqueness, I'm stepping into my power and manifesting a life that's truly aligned with my purpose.
If you're struggling with comparison, remember: your journey is your own, and it's beautiful just as it is.
